SPORTS MASSAGE
Sport massage helps to improve performance and recuperation, aid in recovery from competition, increase range and quality of movement, prevent injury and, if there is an injury, reduces the recovery time. It can be carried out before, during or after playing sport or exercising.
Sports massage can work for anyone who is active, from the recreational athlete to professional athlete. But while it's especially beneficial for those who work out often, it's useful for anyone who exercises even mildly or who suffer from occupational pain and discomfort.
DEEP TISSUE MASSAGE
Deep Tissue Massage works by physically breaking down adhesions in muscles, tendons, and ligaments to relieve pain and restore normal movement. The massage therapist often uses direct deep pressure or friction applied across the grain of the muscles. This direct deep pressure can temporarily produce discomfort or pain. Patients typically describe this as “Good pain” and the results often produce long lasting relief of pain and tension, improved blood circulation and increased range of movement.
